Bear Mountain Inn & Barn Wedding | Cathy & Aaron’s Lakeside Maine Celebration

Cathy and Aaron’s wedding at Bear Mountain Inn & Barn in Waterford, Maine was a beautiful celebration of family, faith, and tradition. Set on 26 private acres overlooking a peaceful lake, this charming New England farmhouse and barn venue provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and meaningful wedding day.

The day began with a heartfelt first look, giving Cathy and Aaron a quiet moment together before the festivities began. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was the signing of the Ketubah, honoring Jewish wedding traditions and the commitment they were making to one another.

Their lakeside ceremony beautifully blended Jewish and Christian traditions, creating a celebration that felt deeply personal and reflective of both families. Surrounded by loved ones and beautiful Maine weather, Cathy and Aaron exchanged vows before the ceremony concluded with the traditional breaking of the glass.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered outside the barn for light appetizers and drinks before heading inside for an evening filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of dancing. One of the highlights of the reception was the Hora, where family and friends lifted Cathy and Aaron into the air while the dance floor erupted with energy and celebration.

Before the sun disappeared, we slipped away for a few final portraits by the lake and caught the last moments of golden light. The peaceful setting and beautiful sunset provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

Cathy and Aaron’s Bear Mountain Inn & Barn wedding was a wonderful example of what makes New England weddings so special—beautiful scenery, meaningful traditions, and the coming together of two families to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter.
