A Family Session at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester, MA

Some family sessions feel like a chance to slow down and enjoy being together. That’s exactly what made this family session at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester, Massachusetts so special.

With its open fields, historic farm buildings, and winding paths, Wright-Locke Farm is a lovely setting for family photos. There’s room for kids to explore and plenty of natural backdrops for relaxed, candid portraits. The farm’s fields, trails, and historic surroundings give the session a distinctly New England feel.

We spent our time finding bright, colorful fall colors along the paths, checking out and saying “hi” to the farm animals like Slim the goat and chickens, and running around. The best moments often happened in between the posed photos. Those are the moments that show a family as they are right now.

Remembering this season of family life

What I’ll remember most about this session is the connection the family has and the love the parents have for their little ones. Kids grow up so fast and it’s just so important to document these special seasons while they are still little!
